Q: Do they sell the new 2010 jeep wrangler with an automatic transmission?
I’m interested in the new jeep 2010 wrangler, but then i noticed on the website all of them were with a manual transmission, do they make automatic ones?

A: Yes they do. On there website they may just be trying to pull of a “tough” off road look, but you can get an automatic.

Q: What is the best 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
I want a first car and Ive been looking at the 2010 wrangler Sahara. But whats the difference between that and a wrangler sport?

A: Rubicon.

Q: How much are they coming off of the price of a new 2010 Jeep Wrangler in the St. Louis area?
I’m trying to buy a new 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I’ve been to a dealership and they will not come off the price more than $1000. I just want to know if this is what others are experiencing before I purchase one.

A: Go to Jeep.com and build your own online. It will adjust your price by using your zip code.

Q: Do you leave the soft top hardware on when installing a bikini Safari top on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler that i have the soft top on it, i have purchased the Safari Bikini header top. It looks horrible, we have tried it both ways with and with out the soft top hardware. Any suggestions? Should we leave the hardware on or take it off?

A: I would leave it on due to the fact that taking it off and putting it on all the time is a pain in the neck. Its can be painful just to put the top up and down…..just think if you have to add and take off the hardware every time….

Q: What is the largest tire i can fit on my 2010 Jeep wrangler with out lifting it.?
I am looking to put new wheels and tires on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler and was wondering what the largest tire i could install with out it bottoming out or rubbing.. also should I stick with 16″ wheels or go ahead and upgrade to the 18″ Im looking to purchase moto metal 0951 wheels in black.

A: Figure out which size wheel you want to go with, and we can suggest some sizes to look at. Basically, if you convert your tire to the old inch sizing system, then 33′ diameter tires will fit it OK. I’m running 265×75x16 on my 09 with no rubbing, they’re the same height as the 33×12.5×15 on my old, lifted YJ

Q: I need more power in my 2010 wrangler X unlimited?
I am about to do a 4″ suspension lift and 35″ tires. I need to compensate for the loss in power. I was planning on leaving the 3.73 gears and adding cold air intake, cat back exhaust and computer chip. Will this give me the power i need to get me back to atleast where i am now. Or should i consider something else.

A: it will help a little bit but not enough to put you back where its at now if u want your power back you will most likely have to go with lower gears my buddy has a 07 unlimited with 35s and he went with 5.13 gears and got his power back and went from 11 mpg up to 16.5mpg hope this helps

Q: how to install ac in a 2010 jeep wrangler?
i just bought a 2010 jeep wrangler without ac.. can i buy a factory kit and do it myself?

A: I know that you could buy a factory a/c for Jeep CJ’s & YJ’s for Jeeps that came with no a/c. They were just like the ones that rolled of the assembly line when you installed them since all a/c’s were mounted under the dash. They were easy to install & worked like a charm. I do not know if they have factory kits for TJ’s or JK’s now that they are dash mounted.

Q: How much does it cost to fill up a 2010 jeep wrangler stick shift?
If u have a wrangler this should b easy. If not, may b u still know.

A: Why dont you ask the dealer how many gallons the particluar jeep you want to fill, get your average price per gallon from your local gas stations and do your math. Since not all gas station price per gallon is the same, so how would we know

Q: what is the bolt pattern for the 2010 jeep wrangler sport?
im looking to buy new wheels and tires for my 2010 jeep wrangler and need to know the bolt pattern before ordering the wheels. thanks

A: 5×5″

Q: How do you deactivate the passenger side airbag on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
To make sure, even though there are automatic controls, how is the airbag manually turned off?
I appreciate everyone writing in. The question was asked by a customer looking into purchasing a 2010 Wrangler. This customer knew of earlier models having the factory disable switch in front of the gear shift. Perhaps the load cell technology in the passenger seat eliminates the need for this switch. Just running the question by my mates on Yahoo! Answers. Thanks.

A: You would have to install a switch yourself as no shop would do it, because of the liability. If someone gets hurt due to fact that the switch was thrown, even though there was a person riding there, there is a chance of a lawsuit!!!
Why would you want to do this???

Q: Why do I have to slam the doors on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara so hard to get them to shut?
I have to really slam the doors on my Jeep to get them to shut. Is that normal?

A: Try cracking one of the windows, or have the dealer adjust the striker plates in the door frame. This is a new car, why don’t you ask at the dealer?

Q: My friend is deciding between a 2009 Pontiac G8 or 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. What should they get?
I know that they are completely different types of cars. They are asking my opinion on what the should get, and I am trying to see which one is safer.

A: The 2009 Pontiac G8 will be discontinued and parts for this vehicle might become rare as General Motors is discontinuing the Pontiac line to focus on their Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC brands. With that said though, the Pontiac G8 is a luxurious car with a sporty performance.

The 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara is a rugged vehicle which can go on road and off road and is great at moving cargo like a kayak or other large sporting goods.

I would choose the 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara just because you can get replacement parts for it in the future unlike the soon to be discontinued Pontiac G8.

Q: What is the best website to get camouflage seat covers for a 2010 jeep wrangler?
best quality for the best price please thanks!

A: I would first check jcwhitney.com, then EBAY and then go to your higher priced outdoor outlets like a Cabellas or Mega Sports, or most dealers will even have something real nice factory slip ons to order.

Q: What is the value of a new 2010 Jeep wrangler sport?
What is the value for this new/used?

A: I don’t know about a 2010, I’ll sell you my ‘09 for $50,000

Q: Can I add a built in soft top to a hard top 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
I see you can buy a set up where the soft top stows away with the hard top on from the factory but, only with a tan interior. Just wondering if I bought a hard top can I add this down the road either as an accessory or in the aftermarket?

A: look at quadratec.com . They have several options for a soft top. A lot of people like the trek top option but there are tons of aftermarket jeep parts.

Q: What do you think about the 2010 VW Jetta?
I’m thinking of leasing a 2010 VW Jetta and wanted to hear other drivers opinions. I’m looking at the basic sedan not the TDI.

A: I just test drove an SE the other day. I definitely fell in love. The ride was so smooth and actually fun. I know they only get 170 horse power, but it was extremely peppy. The car was very easy to maneuver and very stylish on the inside and out. I love how the SE comes standard with the touchscreen radio and sunroof! I’m going back next week to buy it.

(they have a special deal right now where you can finance for 60 months at a rate of 1.9% which is.. beyond amazing, truly a great deal)

Q: What’s the cost of repairs (in general) on VW Jetta 2010 TDI?
I’m strongly considering the purchase of a 2010 VW Jetta TDI. My other option at the moment is a 2010 Toyota Camry. Putting aside arguments of reliability and basic track record, I’m trying to find out which is going to be cheaper to have body repairs done on: the Camry or the Jetta.

A: JETTA WILL BE THE EXPENSIVE ONE AND THE WORST CAR FOR RELIABLE. IF YOU WANT THE JETTA, EXPECT ALOT OF TIME SPENDING AT THE SHOP . WE LOVE JETTA CUSTOMERS BECAUSE IT BREAK DOWN ALOT

Q: Should I trade in my 2010 VW Jetta for a 2010 Mazda 3?
I just bought a 2010 VW Jetta in January and hate it. I’m thinking about trading it in toward a 2010 Mazda 3. For anybody that has it, is it worth it?

A: Totally! I have worked with both brands, Mazda are very reliable, VW’s suck nowadays!

Hope this helps.

Q: Does the standard 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen CD player play MP3 CDs?
I am trying to determine if the standard (base model) stereo in the 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen comes with a CD player that plays MP3 CDs, or just regular (non-MP3) CDs.

A: Yes , it will says so just above the slot for the CD

Q: What are the differences between 2010 VW Jetta TDI and Golf TDI?
They look very similar and I heard engines are the same. What is the difference then?
Sorry I think the one in question is Jetta SportWagen TDI. Jetta SportWagen TDI and Golf TDI looks very similar but Jetta SW costs more. What are the differences?

A: The difference is the body style and options, everything is the same.

Q: I am going to be leasing a new car. I have narrowed it down to a 2010 VW Jetta or a 2009 Honda Accord.?
I have heard that VW are very expensive to fix if there are any mechanical problems. If anyone can give me any insight about what is a better car to choose I would appreciate. I am torn!

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: What can I modify on a VW Jetta 2010 for more power?
2.5L 170 horsepower, 177 lbs-ft. torque, 20 valve, DOHC, in-line five-cylinder engine.

Turbo? Twin turbo? What is the best performance parts combination for more HP?

A: Reletively easy and inexpensive, and both not only increase power, but efficiency… go for intake and exhaust. You can youtube your car, or similar engine size and features with different exhaust systems then go to a muffler shop and say I want this…. if you want a simple upgrade, to get more power to the wheels go for a lightweight crank pulley. You can get a full pulley set, but imo you really only need the crank pulley. This one is nice because it reflects every hp gain you add without changing anything again.

Q: Should I get a 2010 nissan sentra or 2010 VW Jetta?
I really want a Jetta But I heard they aren’t reliable.. The Sentra is kinda similiar to the jetta..
Which is better? and which is more reliable ??

A: I was in the same situation as you. I had to chose between the nissan sentra or the VW Jetta. I decided to go for the Jetta due to the fact that you really get more for what you pay for. Yes the Jetta is more expensive, but in the long run it will save you money.

Plus the Jetta looks better!

Q: 2010 VW Jetta- Sub amp installation w/ factory touchscreen stereo?
I have the factory touch screen stereo in my 2010 Jetta. I need to know the best way to be able to install subs and an amp myself. I heard I need a converter for the head unit and stuff. It has the touchscreen stereo with 6 disc changer. I am thinkin about gettin a 12 inch stitched kicker sub and idk about amp yet, if anyone would be able to suggest an inexpensive quality amp that would be great. Thanks in advance for all the information provided.

A: Yep what you need is a ‘High to Low Level Converter’.

Basically, it takes two of your speaker outputs, and converts them into RCA inputs for your amp. You can still use the speakers, you just splice into the wires.

Some amps also have a built in high-to-low level converter but I have usually only seen this in the ‘cheaper’ amps.

Q: What would you buy: 2009 VW Jetta or 2010 Nissan Sentra?
I am looking at the Jetta SE and Sentra SR. I like both and am looking for biggest bang for the buck and most fun to drive. Thanks for your help and if you could back up your answer with more then just the name of the car.

A: I would get the Jetta.

Q: Should I purchase 2010 VW Jetta or 2008 Toyota Camry SE?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: Should i buy a 2010 VW Jetta?
I am 17. My family has 4 drivers and 2 cars. my dad is looking into buying another car for me and him to share. He is mainly letting me pick it out but since he is paying for it he needs to approve. He wants 4 doors, good fuel econ and reliable. I want sporty. i think the jetta meets these guidelines and i love the radio touchscreen in the 2010 model. what is your opinion. do you have any other suggestions? i am also waiting for the 2010 golf to come out to look at that as well. please comment and suggest! thanks

A: it’s an excellent car

the 5 cyl engine doesn’t get great mpg (24) and is a little noisy at high revs

if your wanting to save trips to the pump get the TDI (stellar 47 hwy)

Q: I am getting my first car. What should I get? 2010 VW Jetta TDI or 2010 Ford Taurus?

A: The Volkswagen Jetta is the least expensive German sedan/wagon in the North American market, available in sedan or wagon bodystyles, the Jetta offers something for everyone.
The Jetta is powered by three different engines, a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine generating 170 horsepower, a 140-hp 2.0L TDI clean-diesel engine for those looking for maximum fuel economy, or a 200-hp 2.0-liter turbo in the Wolfsburg Edition. Buyers that go with the 2.5-liter engine can choose between either a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed Tiptronic automatic; while TDI and 2.0T buyers select from either a six-speed manual transmission, or a six-speed DSG auto with Tiptronic. All Jetta’s come standard with many safety features including six air bags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability program, traction control and tire pressure monitoring.
For 2010, the wagon gets a new look both inside and out. New headlights, hood grille, bumpers, fenders, wheels, interior door panels, steering wheel, instrument cluster and fabrics.

The 2010 Ford Taurus gets a major makeover, with revised exterior and interior styling, and new features. Ford also revives the high-performance Taurus SHO for 2010. This large sedan retains the basic platform and powertrain of the 2008-2009 Taurus. The 2010 model reprises SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels, all with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is offered on the SEL and Limited. All are powered by a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine teamed with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The high-performance Taurus SHO (super high-output) returns for 2010 after last being produced in 1999. It has Ford’s “EcoBoost” turbocharged 365-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, and AWD. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Blind-spot alert is also offered, along with Ford’s Cross Traffic Alert, which is designed to sense oncoming traffic when slowly backing out of a parking spot. SOS Post-Crash Alert unlocks the doors, sounds the horn and activates the emergency flashers in the event of an air bag deployment. Among the available features are leather upholstery, heated front seats, rear-obstacle detection, a navigation system, adaptive cruise control, and Ford’s Sync voice-activated control interface. MyKey allows owners to program a key that can limit the vehicle’s top speed and audio volume. A capless fuel filler is standard and keyless access and engine start is available. SHO models have specific steering, suspension tuning, and brakes. A SHO-exclusive “Performance Pack” includes uprated brakes and 20-inch summer-only tires.

over all the jetta would last longer but expensive to maintain but the taurus wont last long only 5 years. but cheap to maintain. thats why if i want an american car i lease it. jetta is more sporty. Hope this helps alot!!

Q: 2010 VW Jetta or 2010 Mazda 3?
which is a better car for a 16 year old?

A: This really depends on what you want the car for. Fun, reliability, or whatever.

Reliability, I would go with the Mazda.

Fun, well it really depends on what you like to do. Both have sporty options. And both are probably fun to drive. Mazdas have really good handling.

However, the Jetta will probably be built better. Stronger material, more luxurious interior, etc.

I could go on, but I think you might see my point. You could go with either. Do you research.

If you have extra money in case anything goes wrong with the car, go with the Jetta. If money is tight, go with the Mazda.

Q: PLZ help what car to get 2010 camaro or 2010 vw gti or vw tdi jetta?
im going car shopping on monday and been doing som research on tons of cars and i think it come down to these…im going into collage and i also want to have a nice looking car, but im also looking for something thats alittle sporty but thats reliable.
any other idea or options i should consider?

A: Just get something simple like an 02 Toyota Celica or Subaru Impreza RS. You don’t need a brand new 2010 car. No kid is worth that much.

Q: What tools are needed to change the oil filter on a 2010 Toyota RAV4? Any special tools?
It is just an element and oil rings.
The nearest dealer is 60 miles.
This is not the usual filter.
There is a permanent filter housing.
The filter is not a spin off-on filter but a filter element.

A: I have a 2009 rav4, I purchased a 65 millimeter cap wrench.

Q: What is the difference between a Toyota Rav4; 2009 model and 2010 model?
ok, other than the change in year. I noticed that there isnt any difference between the newly released 2010 rav4 and the older 2009 model… do any one know what they changed?? please help,,,,

A: Practically no difference, since 2009 saw midyear changes. The 2010 would be the last year of the current RAV4’s product cycle (2006 was the first year), unless Toyota decides to extend it.

Q: I purchased a 2010 Toyota Rav4 in January?
and I financed @3.9% for 5 years. Toyota is now offering 0% for 5 years. Am I locked in to my deal or is it possible to refinance at 0% to save money?

A: You are locked in. The dealer cannot help you, and Toyota Motor Credit won’t rewrite the loan just because a better offer came along.

Q: I have bought a Toyota RAV4 2010, will my OBDII work with the RAV4,also where is the hookup located?
OBDII is the On Board Diagnostic tool that hooks up to the cars computer and reads the status situation of the computer’s registers

A: yes your 2010 is a obd2. it should be under the steering collom by your knees

Q: Which one is the 2010 Toyota RAV4?
Which one is the 2010 Toyota RAV4?

http://www.motorward.com/2009/01/toyota-rav4-renderings/

or

http://www.motorward.com/2009/06/renderings-2010-toyota-rav4/

A: The first one is the US version of the Toyota RAV-4. The second is the 2010 Lexus RX350. The picture can be altered or that is the European version of the RAV-4.

Q: When does the 2010 Toyota RAV4 come out?
My dad is really considering buying a RAV4 because he’s a proud owner of a ‘99 Corolla and thinks the Toyota reliability is top notch. Also, he has a clunker and is interested in cashing in on the “Cash for Clunkers” program.

When will the new 2010 RAV 4 hit the dealerships? (My dad hates the tire on the back door of the 2009 version and wants to buy the new model) A bunch of 2010 Toyota models like the Matrix, Camry, and Prius have already come out. Will the new RAV4 come out in time before “Cash for Clunkers” ends?

A: According to rav4world, the 2010 model should be out in late August/early Sept. No major changes are expected for this model year; but a major re-do is expected for the following year.

And as an FYI for one of the other responses, Toyota currently manufactures approximately 10 models in North America, including the Rav4, which is manufactured in Canada. Most other manufacturing in North America is done in the U.S. Many U.S. automakers are now manufacturing in other countries, so that Ford you are buying may be a foreign car.

Q: Should I buy the extended warranty on a 2010 Toyota Rav4?
I am considering to buy a new 2010 Toyota Rav4 V6 4X4. The dealer is offering me the extended warranty (8 yr, 100k miles) [back by Toyota] for $1200. However, I am not sure if I would need that since I have heard that the Rav4 is quite reliable. Also, from what I have heard, the extended warranty thing is kinda tricky as they would say this or that is not covered when you actually need work to be done on the car. Can you give me your advice? Or if you own a similar car, can you share your experience with me? Thanks in advance.

A: Yes you should buy it because on a Toyota you WILL need it, and often…..

Q: bike rack for Toyota Rav4 2010 for loading the rear side not roof toop?
I am interested in buying Toyota Rav4 2010 and I want to carry my mt bikes. But I prefer to using trailer hitch with bike rack instead of roof top loading. The dealer said “trailer hitch is after market”. But I wonder if a trailer hitch really can go with Rav4 2010 since the extra tire is attached to the rear door. Can you advice if it’s ok for me to purchase Rav4 2010 to carry my bikes with a trailer hitch and bike rack?

A: Try ATU or any D&W garage, they will have them and if not will order for you,.

Q: 2010 Toyota Rav4 vs 2010 Chevrolet Equinox?
Hi i am deciding to buying one of these suv’s which one would you guys go for ? and please give a detailed answer

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: 2010 Toyota Rav4 Question?
I recently purchased a limited edition Toyota Rav 4 and I have a question about the TEXT option on the radio. Is there a way to make the text of the song playing or artists name scroll on the screen rather than just have half of the words only appear?

A: No

Q: Does anyone know when the toyota rav4 2010 is coming out?

A: in 2010

Q: 2010 Toyota RAV4 Review?
My mom is looking to buy one. Any reviews or good sites that have reviews on this SUV? What would be a good price for one. Probably looking to get the V6 and want the sports appearance package.

A: Cheap plastic dashboards, horrible seat interior unless you get leather. Rear tire dangling on rear door, which exposes it to being stolen, noisy on the highway. underpowered with a 4 cylinder but sold that way anyway to get your money. …No, they are junk. Now, a Chevy Equinox–now were talking….look it up on edmund.com They are raving about the new Equinox, which is much like the RAV4 but way better built, and it doesn’t look so ugly oriental, it looks American.

Q: I just bought a 2010 Toyota Rav4?
I financed for 7 years at 7.29% and was wondering if it is possible to change finance terms to 6 years? I purchased my vehicle 11-27-09 , if I contact finance department will they consider this or am I locked in with the contract I signed? I’m looking to save $$ on the life of my loan and I can afford to pay more than I originally thought. Thanks!!

A: It is a simple interest loan so any money you pay more then the payment goes to equity. There is absolutely no reason to re finance as if you pay off a year by doubling some payments then it will be paid off early. You will save what you p[ay early without any interest. as far as APR, it will not get better to where you would save only a couple of dollars a month if that but refinancing cost fees all over again.

Q: 2010 Toyota RAV4 tire?
Is there still the rear tailgate mounted spare tire still there? Because I really like it except for the tire. I heard that only the sport model had the tire removed, is this true? Thank you

A: The Sport Appearance Package, available on the 4WD V6 Sport RAV4 model,
includes an exclusive look with a redesigned rear door featuring chrome
accents and no spare tire. The package equips the RAV4 with run-flat tires.
Other external cues include a chrome exhaust tip, rear trunk chrome trim and
unique badging. With a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of
$34,635, the all-new Sport Appearance Package also includes:

    –   Unique red badges;
–   Eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat;
–   Leather seat surfaces;
–   Heated front seats;
–   Simulated leather door trim;
–   Chrome exhaust tip and rear trunk chrome trim;
–   Chrome inner door handles and interior trim;
–   Cargo mat;
– Tire pressure monitoring system.

Q: regarding paying a 2010 toyota RAV4?
this is our first time buying a brand new car. me (girl) and mom decided to buy this car. but she was the only one at the dealership. the car costs $22,160. but when i looked at the papers mom gave me. it became $26,000. it says there that SERVICE CONTRACT costs $1,125. do we really have to pay for SERVICE CONTRACT? plus ROADWAY ASSISTANCE of $99? and MISC ACCESSORIES of $425? are these things necessary to pay??????? coz if we remove all these stuffs then we will greatly reduced the amount that we will have to pay for the next 3 years.

A: sorry man you sign the paper ,that mean you 100% agree with that it stated
you can try talking to the dealer
but yea… is retarded
your mum sign the paper, that mean legally she agree with everything, by law , they can say NO, you can’t delete the stuff

Q: Whats the original song in the 2010 toyota corolla commercial?
“a little bit of….”
is the main line that repeated.
its a really old song.

A: Google will help you.

Q: Why does my 2010 Toyota Corolla feel like the engine “misses” while driving?
The tachometer moves up and down +/- 300 rpm while driving at a constant speed and when I am at a stop. This car is brand new. If you have had a similar experience, what was the resolution?

Thank you.

A: That is nothing to worry about. It is very normal to notice that in your car. It often varies, based on the incline of the road. Even a slight incline may cause the rpms to vary when going at a constant speed. It will be more obvious on higher inclines while going at a steady speed. Also, I notice that the AC, when at a stop tends to affect the rpms by 300 +/- RPMS. When the car is standing still after a while, I notice that the RPMS may drop because the AC power drops at an idle. While moving at a constant speed, the AC takes additional power from the engine, thus increasing the RPMs more than normally.

Q: 2010 Toyota Corolla TEXT button on radio?
I just bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla. When I press the TEXT button it does not display any information (i.e., radio station, what or who’s playing on the radio/CD, etc.). My 2007 Corolla displayed all this information when you pressed the TEXT button. The owner’s manual just simply say’s to press the TEXT button and information will display. Does anyone know what to do or just take the car back to the dealer? Thanks!

A: It’s broken but that is common with new Toyota’s these days it is under warranty though so take it back and don’t let them convince you it is your fault like Toyota is also attempting these days. Make them fix it.

Q: Should I buy a 2009 Honda Accord or a 2010 Toyota Corolla?
My transmission blew in my car last weekend so I need to make a fast decision about what kind of car to get. I love both of these cars and do not know which is the better car. The accord I am looking at is a little cheaper and only has 5,000 miles. Please help!

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Why is the 2010 Mazda3 cheaper than the 2010 Toyota Corolla?
Andddd it looks way better. Why is this?

A: No especially god reason, Toyota just marked their car at a higher price. The Mazda is a better car in every way in my opinion.

Q: Which color is the best 2010 toyota corolla?
I was thinking about blue and silver. The blue is very bright but the silver is kind of boring….I’m wondering if people generally like this year’s blue or if they think it’s ugly.

A: All of Toyota’s colors are boring. They seem to have even forgotten how to make a beautiful silver–which now looks like dull lifeless grey. the blues are horrible and look like they mixed other colors in it. The Japanese seem to have a warped sense of both color and design. For a boring line-less exterior yu won’t find in any other car–sloped sides and humped roof lines. Just terrible. All of them. they run good tho, unless yu happen to get one with a sludge problem where the engines blow, or a Camry with one of the many bad shifting transmissions. I have a Toyota, but am considering going to something else. The quality has definitely slipped with all the cheesy plastic and rubber interiors too. Toyota seems to be shooting itself in the foot.

Q: I have a question about my 2010 Toyota Corolla?
I got the basic model a few days ago, and at first when I turned my key all the door locks opened. But now when I do it only my drivers seat lock opens. Since the basic model doesn’t come with a remote key entry does that mean my key can only open the drivers side of the door and I have to open all the other doors by hand?
I did try it this morning, it’s still not opening. I guess I’ll try again

A: How that usually works is this:

When the doors are all locked if you turn the key to the unlock position once and let go, it only unlocks the drivers door. If you do it twice quickly it will open the rest, it may also do this if you hold it.

This is by design, by the way, so if you were getting into the car and there was a shady looking character on the other side you would not automatically unlock all the doors.

Try it, you’ll see.

Q: what size tire is on a 2010 toyota corolla with 14″ or 15″ rims and what size tire on the model with 17″ rim?
2010 14″ or 15″ rim model corolla….tire size? (not sure if 2010 has 14s or 15s)

2010 17″ rim model corolla….tire size?

A: corolla quit using 14 early 90’s and 15 late 90’s have been 215/60R16 for about 10 years 17 are probably something like 215/55R17

Q: I just bought a new Toyota Corolla 2010, Does that mean My car will have those issues about the pedals?
Ok, So Toyota camry has been recall for having a lot of problems, but i Just recently hear that corolla had them too? Do i have to be worried?

A: Your car has been fixed before they sold it. Remember their stopping the assembly and sales a short time back. They took the time to develop and apply a remedy. I’ve had my 2010 Corolla since last July. Now, with about 10,000 miles on it, there have been absolutely no problems with the car. We got a recall notice and had the work done.

The “news” you’re hearing is the same old story over and over and over and you can bet you will keep hearing it. Newscasters want something ugly to say every day to keep people watching and scared of not watching. Lawyers are picking at any detail they can to attract owners into their class action so their pockets get fatter on a share of the biggest settlement they can meddle up. Even in this certain forum listers keep saying the most negative things they can make up to feed their schadenfreude- especially the ones who have never driven a Toyota in their lives. They act like they know everything after reading a few biased articles. When you read those articles, you see there is no proof included to support the statements, which are mainly speculative and hearsay.

I would say worry, if you suddenly start having toyotas in your neighborhood start malfunctioning. Look around you though. Everywhere you look you see Toyotas not acting up. The reason I’m taking this tack is because a few owners with repaired toyotas complain of repeated malfunction. I’m guessing something in their environment is causing the problems, and that “something” didn’t go away.

Q: I recently bought a toyota corolla 2010 just 3-4 weeks ago… can I ask for money back?
I saw all the gas pedal problems on the news about toyota cars, and I just bought my corolla 2010 3-4 weeks ago! can I ask for money back or something??

A: Just yesterday the government stated that none of these recalled vehicles will fall under the lemon law and since they already have in the works a remedy this will be repaired for you at no charge but I do understand what you are saying………..

Q: Which car would win in a street race 2010 Toyota Corolla or 2000 Toyota Celica?
I know there not racing cars but still which would win in your opinion.

A: just so you know, corolla get manual transmission also
weight does not matter as ya problem seen the heavy nissan 350z doing well in races
unless it’s a 1 street block race then weight is a factor for a good start

stock = corolla wins auto or stick, same engine size but corolla has overdrive not that it matters…save gas while going fast

if you guys wanna compare GT-S then corolla gets the XRS = corolla wins
celica have same 1.8L engine while Xrs corolla has a 2.4L engine

and a fresh 2010 auto transmission shift pretty good thanks to the latest technology

Q: Is a 2010 Toyota corolla xrs a good car for Teens first car?
I wanna put some nice rims

A: It’s reliable and all that and you can’t go wrong with a company like Toyota, but seriously, who’s gonna wanna ride with you in that? You might as well put a bumper sticker on it saying “I don’t want friends”. Get a Volkswagen Golf 2010, it’s equally as reliable, great trim levels, a good amount of power, fuel efficient and it looks pretty damn good.

Q: OPINIONS OF 2009 AND 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA OWNERS NEEDED!?
I currently drive a 2000 Toyota Corolla. I am thinking of getting a 2010 Corolla. Please rate it on the following and explain if possible:

Power
Reliability
Steering
Comfort

Rate on a scale from 1 to 10.

A: Power: 5
Reliability: 10
Steering: 7
Comfort: 8

The power only comes from a small 4 cylinder engine and that’s why it gets good mpg. Even though it is a small engine it is extremely reliable. This car is very reliable where you will almost never have any trouble with it unless you are driving very erratically, which most toyota owners don’t. The steering is good but not impressive. Its just your average power steering system and finally the comfort. The comfort is good because you never feel as if the car is too big or too small. its the perfect size. The car itself is roomy and versatile but it does give a good comfort feel to it as well. I hope I helped and it would be really nice if I get best answer. Thanks a lot and happy buying.

Q: Who knows of a free service to obtain the actual invoice price on a new 2010 Toyota Corolla S model?

A: http://www.edmunds.com/?mktcat=trademark&kw=edmonds.com&mktid=ov16157827

Q: Buying a new car, which is best 2010 Mazda3 or Toyota Corolla?
My girlfriend is about to purchase a new car and has narrowed it down to the 2010 Mazda 3 or the Toyota Corolla. Taking everything into consideration, which of these two cars is the overall best?

We’ve been to both dealerships and the price for both is right around the $15,200 mark. Is that a good price?

A: Corolla’s a great car…well built, high fuel economy, reliable…and the styling is much improved on the previous models. But it’s pretty boring to drive. Like the first answerer said, it is more or less an appliance to get you where you need to go.

If you can get over the overwrought front end styling of the ‘10 Mazda(exactly the opposite of the Toyota, the earlier 3’s are much prettier style wise), the 3 is the more dynamic driving experience of the two.

Q: 2010 Nissan Altima Owners, how much did you pay?
I’m wanting to buy a new Nissan Altima probably at the end of the year but I’m have to start budgeting now. I’m wanting the 25 S series which is priced at $21840. How much did you wind up paying total even with tax, title, and license? Thanks in advance it will really help me!

A: After you get a few responses and decide what an average price is, contact an internet sales manager for your local dealer and negotiate a price. Get all the particulars sorted out before you even go to the show room. When you get there all you need to do is read the contract to make sure all is in order, make your down payment, sign the contract and take posession of your new car- all without speaking to the sharks on the lot. Don’t buy anything else that you didn’t work out with the internet sales manager. You can make your offer online and cut the haggling. You will get a lower price than anyone who goes to the lot without doing it this way.

Q: does anyone know anything about the 2010 nissan altima coupe?
i have seen pics about the up comming altima coupe SE-R but wanted to know anything else about it

A: 4 wheels
Windshield
Steering wheel
Seats
Transmission
Exhaust
Many more things

Your welcome

Q: 2010 Chevy Camaro or 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe?
Which car is better…the 2010 Chevy Camaro or the newest Nissan Altima Coupe?

A: Both are two very different cars.

1. Altima is a simple FWD coupe that’s been on sale for a year or two.
2. The new Camaro is a new RWD performance car that hasn’t even hit the sales lot.

To the people that answer “Camaro”:

Good God, stop giving answers about a car you’ve never driven, know little about and probably have never seen on the streets.

Q: What type of oil should I use on a 2010 Nissan Altima?

A: 10w30

Q: 20,000 for 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S – good or bad?
I just got quoted 20,000 out the door for a brand new 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. Good deal to take or bad and I should continue to bargain?

A: Continue to bargain… they can only say yes or no. But 20,000 is about right.

Q: Nissan Altima 2010 Accessories. (Please answer, especially if you are a car expert)?
I have a black 2010 nissan altima 2.5S

I was thinking of adding some stuff, but I don’t know where how how I would do this. Please help by telling me where and how I can buy these accessories.

1) Spoiler – I want a spoiler but I don’t like the Nissan factory spoilers.
2) Black Rims – I don’t want to spend a lot of money, and my friend told me that he changed his regular rims to black. He said the people magnetized his rims, and then magnetized the paint, and it stook together.
3) short ram intake – Where can I find one that I know will work for my model.
4) Black tail lights – This is what I would want the most. I don’t know how I could do this. I’ve heard people actually spray painting their lights, while others have bought a tail light cover to make it black.

Thanks for the help.

Please say if you have any other ideas that might go good with my car

A: Powder coating is a electrically charged (static electricity) not magnetism and baked paint process on the rims. (that is ok) Changing the rim size and re engineering the suspension system to function properly (difficult) Hot air under the hood short ram sucks in will not make more power just more noise. So a long air intake that takes cold air will be better. Covering the lights on your car with paint or tint is illegal in almost all states. Spoiler might make more wind turbulence and drag. Less gas mileage? People spend lot’s of money on base S model Altima’s when they should have just spend a hundred more a month for a more optioned car in the first place. Altima is a 4 door family car that gets 600 miles or more per tankfull. Keep it completely stock save money buy your sports car with the savings by keeping this car stock.

Q: 2010 Nissan Altima Vs. 2010 Toyota Camry?
Well i test drove both cars and im deciding to get either 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5SL or a 2010 toyota camry se.im thinking about getting the altima but im not sure cause i heard about the toyota recall plz help

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: how many gallons does a 2010 Nissan Altima have?
it gets 32 miles to the gallon on HWY so how many Gallons does it hold

A: Section (9) page #2 in the owners manual fuel tank holds 20 gallons of fuel. 600+ miles a tank with a light right foot.

Q: 2010 Nissan Altima Lease?
I was offered a 36 month, 12,000 mile per year lease for $315 plus tax, $0 down, which comes to about $334 a month for a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with 2.5 SL package, am I getting a great deal here?

-Southwest Detroit

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe?
I turned 16 in feb. and my dad and i have been talking about which car i should get. Ive bee really into the Nissan Altima Coupe..but i want to wait until the 2010 version comes out. Does anyone know when that will be? Family has told me that the price of the 09 version will lower as the 2010 version comes out..but i rather get the one fresh off the market. Im also stuck between the scion tc. hummer h3 or cadillac cts. and suggestions? Price isnt much of an issue, my dad is paying for it.:D

A: If you go with the 09 you’ll get more options for your money. If you’re wanting to drive around your friends get the CTS, cause getting every person in and out of a coupe is a real bitch. But the 2010 should be around sometime this Summer. Watch out for those dealers, they get slicker every year.

Q: Black 2010 Nissan Altima additions?
I just got a new 2010 Nissan Altima. I was thinking about blacking out my tail lights or whatever you want to call it. Any suggestions on how I should do this? I heard about this film you could put over, and I heard that you can also paint the tail lights. I don’t know too much about cars so I’m not sure what I should do. Also, if you know any spoilers that would good on this car please say. I want to get a spoiler but I don’t like the factory spoilers for the Altima. Thanks for your help

A: it would look nice but you have to give your Altima the race car look. Maybe you can put black on chrome wheels thinner tire size and change the exhaust. black taillight lights cover doesn’t look good on a stock car, i have see many cars it don’t look good. Do some research and stuff compare the car.

here are some pics something close to this.

Q: I just bought the 2009 NIssan Altima Coupe. Should I give it back and get the 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe?
I love how the 2010 Nissan Altima looks. I financed the 2009 Nissan Altima Cpoupe Premium package 2.5. I like the 2009, it drives amazing. However, the 2010 is stunning. Is it a bad move to finance the 2010 and trade in the 2009? Will I get ripped off?

A: Molly, that would be a very stupid move. Vehicles drop the most in value just after they’ve been purchased. Your vehicle (2009 NIssan Altima Coupe) is probably worth a lot less now than before you bought it. If you just give it back, you won’t get the value out of it and you’ll have to pay for that drop in value.

And what’s big deal about the 2010 Altima? It was just a mild refresh for 2010. Is it worth going in to more debt for a car that’s basically the same?

Q: Is this a good deal brand new 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S for 20,000 out the door with taxes & licensing fees?
Wondering if I should take the deal? Please present me with your thoughts for my choice! Thanks!!!

A: it is a good deal if the purchase price before tax and license is invoice cost or less not including rebates ….. ask them to show it to you. and then minus any rebates, your taxes and license costs are based on the purchase price.
thanks for sending more american dollars overseas our economy is fine.

Q: What is the best 2010 Nissan altima lease?

A: GET THE 350Z . much more fantabulous than the altima

Q: Is a black 2010 Nissan Altima a guy’s car? or a girls?
I’m a boy and a high school junior. My family is thinking of getting this car. Do you think it’s a girls car? or a guys? btw i play baseball

A: There is no such thing as a “guy’s car” or girl’s car”.

Good God, you have a family buying a brand new car.

Stop being insecure and just be happy with whatever they buy you.

Q: How much should I pay for a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS?
How much should I pay for a new 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS? I want to get one, but I don’t want to get ripped off. How cheap can you really get these cars?

A: There is currently cash back rebate of $1500 on the Elantra GLS with base MSRP of $16,900. Assume the car has at least floor mats/cargo mat for another $175 and you are at $17,075+$720 Freight for total of $17,795. Now I’d ask for at least $1000 off the price plus the $1500 rebate and pay $15,295 at most prior to tax/title/fee’s. If there are 2 Hyundai dealers in your area you’ll be able to get an even better price. Most dealers will do price quotes by email, this will save you time BSing with the sales manager and driving around.

http://www.hyundaiusa.com

Q: should i trade in my 08 scion TC for a 2010 hyundai elantra?
I am trying to save on my monthly payment. If i get the 2010 Hyundai elantra i might save about $80 on my monthly payment. Is this worth doing? How’s an Elantra reliability wise? Resale value? does it have a long lifespan mileage wise?

A: How much do you owe on the tC? The trade in value is around $10,500 or so depending upon miles and condition. If you owe more than that, you’ll have to make up the difference either in cash at closing or by adding it to the note on the Elantra. Either way will increase your net cost over time. You will ALWAYS come out on the short end when trading a car, especially a fairly new one where most of the depreciation occurs during the first 2 or 3 years of the car’s life.

Elantras hold up fairly well; Hyundai has improved quality control massively over the past few years. However they don’t hold their value all that well, certainly not as well as the Scions do.

A: If 80 bucks is all you are going to save i would say no because i don’t believe the elantra will last as long as the tc and i doubt it will get as good of fuel mileage not to mention on a car thats 2 yrs newer insurance will probably cost more and then you have the fact that if you buy a new car you will have to pay sales tax also. So in the long run considering MPG and insurance will you really be saving any money? if you are happy with your tc i would keep driving it. Hope this helps Good luck!

Q: Is this a good lease deal for a 2010 Hyundai Elantra?
Brand new 2010 Elantra. $1000 down, 12k miles a year, $150 a month for 24 months.

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: 2010 hyundai elantra gls, I have an ipod and use the usb cord that I plug into the computer to plug?
computer. When I use it to plug it into the car it does not display the music properly on the stereo. I was told I need to get a special cord from Hyundai to have it displayed properly on the stereo. I was wondering why it is that way.

A: An IPOD cable from Hyundai its about $10. It comes with proper terminals in order to properly read the content on your device.

Q: Does anyone know the name of the techno song in the new 2010 Hyundai Elantra tent sale commercial on radio?

A: “Red Sky Warning”

Q: Hyundai Elantra 2010?
I’m turning 16 and I wanted to get a new car, I heard the 2010 Hyundai Elantra is good, is it for a first car? Thanks so much:)
Can you get a new one with $14,000?

A: I would save a few thousand dollars and get a KIA instead for a first car. I doubt you will get an Elantra for that price. A new KIA can be gotten for under $10,000.

Q: my 2010 hyundai elantra has no temp gage just a idiot warning light is this safe?
should i install a gage or be confident with the warning light, this is a stupid thing for hyundai to do for a 2010 model 20,000 car

A: we have not seen any issues with this light. it is very effective. besides if there is an issue with the coolant system it will set a check engine light.

Q: Does anyone know the speaker sizes of the 2010 Hyundai Elantra?

A: if you go on crutchfield.com you can view all the specs for the speakers in your car. it is also necessary to know the depth of the speaker when replacing a stock one.

Q: 2010 Honda Civic vs. 2010 Hyundai Elantra?
I’m looking to get a new car, either the 2010 Honda Civic LX Sedan or the 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I’m a 19-year-old college student. I just want the car that is more reliable and comfortable to drive. Whichever one will cost less to maintain and last me longer. Any suggestions?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Issues with 2010 Hyundai Elantra alarm system.?
I just purchased a 2010 Hyundai Elantra a week ago and not a day has gone by where I haven’t grabbed my keys and gone running to my car because the alarm would randomly go off. I’ve tried everything from to open and shutting all the doors along with the hood and trunk, to checking the sensor and attempting to disable the battery. Yet to no avail was I able to get it to stop randomly going off and I’ve had to resort to just locking the doors by key to avoid arming the alarm. I’m curious if anybody else has had this issue and what you did to fix the problem. I tried calling the dealer hoping he would have some insight since after all he is a Hyundai dealer. All he told me was to bring it in and since it’s a good 40 miles away and I work 10 hour shifts 7 days a week this isn’t exactly feasible and am hoping somebody else would know what could be going on?

A: These Elantras have a pretty common problem with the hood switch. If your hood switch is not adjusted correctly, it will randomly make the vehicle think the hood is being opened when the alarm is armed, causing the alarm to go off.

I know this is frustrating, and I’m sorry to hear how far you are from your dealer. Call your dealer and ask them if they provide transportation or pick-up service. Many dealers will offer to have a Driver bring you a loner vehicle, usually a newer model Hyundai, and drive your vehicle to the shop for warranty complaints to avoid you having to make a long trip for a problem that is covered by your warranty.

Please know that this is one of very few common problems with the Elantra, they are probably Hyundai’s most reliable vehicle and you made a good choice in getting one. Ask them to check for any open campaigns while it is in the shop.

I Hope that you get your problem resolved.

Q: is the 2010 hyundai elantra touring a good car?
is it safe? basically i wanna know if you would put your kid in that car ..

A: Take a look at the first link below for crash test rating for the 2009 Elantra Touring (same as the 2010). The second link also has safety ratings from Europe. Basically it received four to five stars for all categories. I own a 2009 Hyundai i30 (Elantra Touring in N. America) in Korea and absolutely love the car. It is sporty, economical, safe, comfortable, affordable with a long list of standard features. The i30 was designed in Germany primarily for the European market. The i30 has won numerous awards since its introduction. Take a look at the second link below for more information on the i30.

In 2004, Hyundai tied with Honda for initial brand quality in a survey/study from J.D. Power and Associates, for having 102 problems per 100 vehicles. This made Hyundai second in the industry, only behind Toyota, for initial vehicle quality. The company continued this tradition by placing third overall in J.D. Power’s 2006 Initial Quality Survey, behind only Porsche and Lexus. Hyundai/Kia Automotive Group is the world’s fourth largest automaker (second in Asia) in terms of units manufactured and sold per year and one of the Big Asian Four (with Toyota, Honda and Nissan).

In recent interviews with Toyota executives, they have expressed concerns about Hyundai-Kia and their market share. Hyundai-Kia is the only automobile manufacturer that Toyota fears – and that says something. Hyundai-Kia is the fastest growing foreign brand in China and is the largest exporter of cars in India (Hyundai has plants in both countries). Hyundai-Kia was the only major automaker to sell more vehicles in 2009 than 2008.

Edit: Hyundai Elantra and Avante are different from the Elantra Touring (which is the i30 or i30 estate). They share the same chassis and engines but that is about it.

Q: I am looking at buying a 2010 Hyundai Elantra..HELP!?
I am intersted in buying a 2010 Hyundai Elantra. Test drove it and really like the way it drives.
Before I decide to make a serious offer for this car I want to be provided with enough information to help me get the lowest possible price. They have a few rebates and such that I will be able to take advantage of. What I am looking for is to find out what is price that the dealership paid for this car. So that when I go start negotiating prices I can have some backing.
Anyone know where I can find how much dealers get there new cars for? Not the MSRP price.

WIll choose the best answer within 24 hours!

Thank you!

A: 2010 Hyundai Elantra. GL or SE model Test drove it and really like the way it drives.
Oh yea that’s an awesome vehicle i say go for it just make sure u get a good deal don’t let them jerk u around ok good luck

Upon introduction, the Blue is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 138-horsepower engine that achieves 26-mpg in the city and 35-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The SE is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 138-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 36-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is optional

Q: What is a good down payment for a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS.?

A: That would depend on what you call a good down payment… you may call $1000 good, someone else may say $5000… I would say whatever the car was going to cost me.

Q: 2010 Hyundai Elantra or 2010 Mazda3?
I’m a college student, and I can afford both of these cars, but I’m torn on which one to get. The Hyundai has a better warranty, and is a little bit cheaper. But the Mazda is a lot nicer-looking and sportier, for a 19-year-old male like myself. Any suggestions?

A: There both good choices, you should compare these two cars at autos.aol.com, The Mazda has the highest consumer ratings and is more fun to drive, the Hyundai has better gas mileage but a lower resale value. The Hyundai is more comfortable than the Mazda. So if your looking for a sporty, has a cheap cost to own, valuable car that can carry lots of stuff, (with the hatchback), then get the Mazda. But if your looking for something comfortable, and economical, get the Hyundai. In my opinion, get Mazda.

Find great deals on the 2010 honda civic.

Q: Why is my 2010 Honda Civic getting bad city mpg?
I don’t even use the A/C right now and I’m only getting 16mpg in the city. Is this because i drive through a route with too many stop signs? I don’t gun it after a stop either. Also, I have 850 miles and the break-in period is over. My trunk is empty too!

Since my mother drives freeways, I had her drive it and she got about 33mpg.

What could be wrong? Any tips? I have an LX-S if that makes any difference.

A: There is nothing wrong. It’s still too new. The A/C does run when you use defrost mode, which does impact gas mileage. The highway mileage indicates the car is running properly.

Just give it more time. I don’t know where you live, but cold weather makes a car consume far more fuel. Once you put more miles on, the city gas mileage will go way up.

Honestly, don’t worry. Absolutly do not put any alcohol, or fuel treatments in your vehicle. I will solve nothing and possibly cause damage.

Q: What is the setlist for Kadawatha in the 2010 Honda Civic tour?
I’m going in sep in atlanta and me and my friends want to learn all the songs

A: Setlist:
1. Revolutionary
2. Whitest Tiger
3. Gonna Stay
4. Dreams and Dreamers
5. Agape

Q: What will happen if I put 87 octane in my 2010 Honda civic si?
The car book says 91 octane or higher, but its really hurting my wallet since i commute alot, so can i put 87 octane in it?

A: use what it calls for if you don’t want problems down the road.

Q: Is it safe to put 93 octane gas in my 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid?
My car is supposed to run on 87 octane gasoline. Next time I get to the bottom of a tank of gas, can I fill it up with 93 octane gas? Are there any side effects? I am asking because a friend of mine suggested that 93 octane gas gives better mpg.

A: Almost all of Honda’s engines are designed to run on 87 octane. You can put a higher octane fuel in your car, but you will most likely won’t see any change in performance or fuel economy.

Q: How much horsepower will a exhaust and a cold air intake add on my 2010 honda civic si?
suggestions on what will add horsepower ( NO TURBOS )

A: They best way to add power is to junk the engine it came with and do a custom fit for an engine with a back bone like a Corvette or Mustang.

Q: Is it possible to change the Steering Wheel on the 2010 Honda Civic LX to the EX?
Just wondering for a friend who wants to get an civic lx and upgrade some stuff
he wants all the buttons to control the stereo on his driving wheel

A: It’s all pre-wired, so you should have no problem switching.

Q: Does the 2010 Honda Civic Sedan have iPod capability?
The manual says it does, but I don’t see where I can plug the iPod into.

A: Its been on Civics for several years. There is an AUX plug on the radio.

Q: What car looks very similar to the 2010 Honda Civic?
Any car, preferably not a new model; can’t afford an expensive car.

A: Consider the Suzuki SX4. My daughter works for a Toyota dealer and owns a Suzuki. Very good car and a great warranty for less money.

Q: Is the 2010 Toyota Corolla safer than the 2010 Honda Civic?
I want to know which car is safer to drive in the snow and which car’s body is stronger in an accident.

A: The Civic is the top-rated small car in crash safety from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (link below). However, the Corolla has standard electronic stability control, which helps prevent skids so you don’t have to find out whose body is stronger — only the high-end Civics give you that feature.

For snow driving, a car that does very well in crash tests, has stability control, and has all-wheel-drive (great for snow traction) is the Subaru Impreza. You get lower gas mileage than in a Civic or Corolla, and it’s more expensive than the Corolla, but if you drive in a lot of snow it may be worth it.

Q: What songs are Tegan and Sara going to play at the 2010 Honda Civic Tour?
@hey: haha! did she get a mullet-esque hairstyle?

A: idk but damn my sister is obsessed with this chicks she got their haircut today lol
ill ask her tho

Q: How to make my Honda Civic LX 2010 betteR?
So I bought a civic 2010 lx, nothing special. Its a pretty standard car. What are some things for cheap that I can do to make it faster and better?

A: Agree with mike.

All Honda has is reliability and nothing else. Japanese cars have gotten seriously overpriced lately and they dont even offer better warranties. Just “piece of mind”….yea id rather go with gm

A civic si 180 hp fully loaded almost hits the 26k brand new and comes with 3 year warranty
A v6 entry level camero with 300 pony power cost 24 k and 100k mile / 5 year.

What made those companys popular was that they were cheap and reliable, but thats gone now and American (cough cough except for dodge) vehicles give you more for less and as far as reliable than before.

Q: I just love the 2010 Honda Civic! But how reliable is it?
Also, should i just get the gas civic, or the hybrid version. I really love the interior of this car!

A: i would not get the hybrid but the standard model with air conditioning is pretty good

Q: How much does a tint job on a 2010 jetta or 2010 Honda Civic usually cost?

A: depends on quality of the tint and where u go…….decent shop with lumar runs about 75 per window….

** will include the “window stickers” required to b legal these days….

Q: Can you have leather interior on a 2010 honda civic sedan?
are there any models that offer leather interior or do they all come with fabric? Is it even an option?

A: Yes the Honda Civic EX-L model features leather interior

Q: 2010 Honda Civic Tour Question: Does Anyone know where to retrieve the photos taken in front of the customcar?
At the honda civic tour there’s a worker that offers to take your photo in front of the custom designed (by the band) honda. she then hands you a card with the link and how to find your pics. I lost my card :/ i still remember what group i was in but i cannot find the site anywhere?
i would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help

Q: This happens an awful lot in South Africa.Do you think the football fans in 2010 will escape this punishment?
http://www.news24.com/News24/South_Africa/News/0,,2-7-1442_2414245,00.html
If you are white and arrested for relative misdemeanours and the cops put you in cells with criminals, this is what usually happens.

A: Ewww sickos!

Q: Ford Escape 2010 Release Date?
I’m looking to purchase a new car. I have my eyes set on a Ford Escape. Does anyone know when the 2010 model will be available for purchase?
I like the new back-up camera – so when I’m in reverse I can see what’s behind me. I also like the parallel parking aide.

A: It will be built in June/July ‘09 and should be at the lots sometime in August/September ‘09.

Q: 2010 Ford Escape questions?
Hi there, I’m SO close to buying a Ford Escape (2010) that I thought I would ask some opinions of people who already have them. Firstly, do you like it, secondly, was it worth it, and lastly, if you could have chosen any other vehicle over the Escape, which car would it be?

I have a 2003 Ford Mustang Convertible Pony Edition with only 55,000 kms on it, and I went to the Canadian Blue Book web site to find out how much it was worth and got a price that was about $2,000 lower than what the dealer offered me if I traded it in. This Mustang is my first car, and it’s never been in an accident and it’s got a clean record. With that in mind, how do you get over the sentimental attachment to an object you value? I’m going to find it extremely difficult to let go of the Mustang, but if it’s going to save me a bundle on a trade in, then I shouldn’t think twice about letting it go. I’ve had the Mustang for almost 7 years now and although it’s nice, it’s not very practical and insurance is a killer ($3,100 the first year, $2,900 the following year, coming down with each accident-free year). What’s insurance like on the Escape? I hope it would be considerably less because it’s a) not my first car and b) not a sports car and c) I’m not a first-time car buyer now. It’s been paid for for years, and I take excellent care of it, and would do the same with the Escape if I buy one.

I think I need some advice… any of you Escape owners out there have anything good to say about it?

Thanks!
Dan

A: for the situation like yours,I would like to suggest you have a look here

http://www.Autoinsurancepro.info

you should find something useful.

Q: Should i buy a 2010 Ford Escape or wait for 2011?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: 2010 Honda Crv or 2010 Ford Escape?
I recently took a job where I need to drive a lot and I would pick between they’ll packages for the cars with the navigation and back up camera etc. I really want to know which one is a better for about a two hour drive such as comfort and enjoyablility. I like the price on the Crv and mileage but i like the v6 on the escape.

A: The Honda is the better vehicle, CRV is as trouble free as you can get. The quality of the Escape is a bit of hit and miss.

Q: Why is there such a big MPG difference between the 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid Base and Limited?
The 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid Base model gets an estimated 34/31 MPG. The 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid Limited model gets an estimated 30/27 MPG. Yet they both have the same engines and drive train. The only difference between the two is accessories (such as audio system, leather, ambient lighting, etc). There is a 200lb difference in weight (the Limited being heavier) but is that the reason why there is such a big difference in MPG ratings? These ratings are from the Ford site, other sites report different ratings (some reporting equal MPG for both models). Just curious as to what is causing this MPG difference between the two.

A: The listed mileage for the Base model is the mileage for a 2WD version and the listed mileage for the Limited is for the 4WD model. Not sure why they didn’t mention it on the website.

http://www.fordvehicles.com/suvs/escapehybrid/specifications/engine/

Q: As for the 2010 Ford Escape, any idea on pricing??r=1245715251?

A: The ‘09 Escape starts at $20,435 w/o taxes, destination, etc. Most of the changes from ‘09 to ‘10 are either inexpensive addons or options. MyKey’ll be standard on XLT and Limited trim, yet not base trim. I’d expect they’d pass off maybe a couple hundred, if that much, to tack on the base price. The spotter mirror is a very cheap, yet functional item that shouldn’t affect price at all. Active Park Assist is also an option.

So with all that info in mind, I’d assume it shouldn’t come out to more than $21k (for base trim, of course). Not sure how upper trims might be affected yet though.

Q: How much would it be if I got a custom color for a new 2010 Ford Escape?
There’s a problem.

I really enjoy the “light ice blue” color on the Ford Escape. This color, however, only comes on Hybrids. I was only interested in getting the XLT model, which is 10K less than the Hybrid.

So, basically, there’s no way of getting the blue color unless I pay for the hybrid, which I don’t want (and can’t pay for).

Then I thought of custom colors. How much would it be if I got the “Ice blue” for the Ford Escape XLT? Thank you!!

A: The cheapest rout would be to get one as close to the color as possible. To paint a car a different color requires taking the entire car apart to paint all the surfaces. If you get one that is close, then you can have just the exterior painted. All of the trim still has to come off, but it is still cheaper than painting everything. As long as you can stand the color difference of the inside of the doors to the outside.

Any color you paint the car is going to be expensive for a quality job done with quality materials. Your looking at around 5000 to 7000$.

Q: where can i buy tickets to escape the fate australia tour 2010 tickets?
I cant find any places to buy tickets for the under 18’s concert. Please send direct link.

A: see if they have them online for sale.

Q: Your opinion: Equinox vs. Escape vs. Cube vs. Soul vs. Compass vs…?
My wife and I are thinking we’ll want a new(er) car in the next couple of years to replace her aging Nissan Sentra. Our search right now is pretty casual, but will probably intensify when we have a baby.

She’s limiting her shopping to cars that are:

1. Easy to get in and out of

2. Easy to haul stuff (and baby car seats) in

3. Easy to park (e.g. easy to tell where all the “corners” are, where the hood and tail end, etc.)

That’s why our comparison list is mostly small car-based SUVs:
* 2010 Chevy Equinox
* 2010 Ford Escape
* 2010 Nissan Cube
* 2010 Kia Soul
* 2010 Jeep Compass

All of the above get close to 30 mpg (if not slightly more) on the highway and can be had for reasonable prices (sub-$20,000) new, which are also important benchmarks for us. With that said, we probably won’t buy new– that’s why we’re looking at 2010 models now, even though we might not buy until 2011 or 2012.

What would you pick if you were a young couple starting a family? I’m leaning toward the Cube because the mechanical details will be familiar to me (I do all the servicing on our Sentra now) and because it’s amazingly efficient in terms of interior space. But there are things I like about all of the others on our list, too. That’s why I want your opinions. What do you like best from that list, and why?

Also, if you have other recommendations for a small family hauler, easy to park, that gets close to 30 mpg highway, please share them!
We’ve considered the Toyota and Honda entries, not impressed for the prices they’re asking. Also tried to get wife interested in Mazda products– I’m a big fan of the Mazda 5– but to no avail.

The thing about possibly owning a Cube is, long after the “fashion statement” element has gone, it’s still got a LOT of useful space inside.

Also, to your point about hatchbacks/cars being better suited to people-hauling, I agree to some extent. But after years of feeling like we’re “falling into” and “climbing out of” our Sentra, we want something with a little higher seating position. Most of these you just sort of slide onto the seat, which is near hip-level– especially the Cube and Soul.

And BTW, I’m a big VW fan (especially TDIs!), but not a fan of the electrical problems they seem to have.

Great suggestions so far– keep ‘em coming!
ThumbsUpFanatic: I realize you’re not going to get 30 mpg out of the V6 Equinox. That’s why we’re looking at the four-cylinder. Besides, I think EPA sticker shows 17/24 for the mileage on the V6, so why would I expect 30 mpg out of that engine?

The Ford Escape is similar. The four-cylinder gets 28 hwy, but the six will get low- to mid-20s, at best.

A: I would always go with the highest quality, in part to avoid the expense and inconvenience of serious problems.

The 2010 Auto Reliability GPAs (on the standard scale of 0.00 to 4.00) of the the SUVs that you mention are:

The Chevrolet Equinox: 0.97 over a 5-year data history (in letter grade, a D)
The Ford Escape (V6, all-wheel-drive): 2.27 over a 9-year data history (a C)
The Nissan Cube: too new to have a 2010 Reliability GPA
The Kia Soul: too new to have a 2010 Reliability GPA
The Jeep Compass: 1.25 over a 2-year data history (a D).

For comparison, here are overall 2010 Auto Reliability GPAs for several brands, in descending order:

Honda: 3.67 (an A)
Scion: 3.56 (a low A)
Toyota: 3.53 (a low A)
Subaru: 2.61 (a low B)
Hyundai: 2.54 (a low B)
Mazda: 2.28 (a C)
Ford: 2.17 (a C)
Nissan: 2.13 (a C)
Kia: 1.93 (a C)
Volkswagen: 1.58 (a low C)
Saturn: 1.49 (a high D)
Chevrolet: 1.37 (a D)
Audi: 1.29 (a D)
GMC: 1.25 (a D)
Jeep: 1.08 (a D)
Chrysler: 1.04 (a D)
Dodge: 0.97 (a D).

Also, it is likely worth noting that the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, the 2007 Jeep Compass, and the 2009 V6 Ford Escape are on Consumer Reports’ 2010 list of Worst Cars. However, if your plan is to recylce quickly, this may not be so important.

The high-reliability small SUVs are:

The Toyota FJ Cruiser, with a 2010 Auto Reliability GPA of 4.00 over only a 2-year data history,
The Honda Element, with a 2010 Auto Reliability GPA of 3.94 over a 7-year data history,
The 4-cylinder Toyota RAV4, with a 2010 Auto Reliability GPA of 3.88 over a 10-year data history,
The Honda CR-V, with a 2010 Auto Reliability GPA of 3.63 over a 10-year data history.

The added benefit of of Toyota and Honda products is that they are generally very durable. For example, by AutoOnInfo.net’s detailed computations, a 19-year-old Toyota Motor Corp. vehicle may be about as troublesome to own as a 3-year-old General Motors vehicle.

Typographical correction: 06/08/2010

Q: Is the video screen built into the rearview mirror a standard LCD screen?
I have a 2010 ford escape with a video screen on the rear view mirror for the reverse camera. The stereo already has audio input jacks. I was wondering if I can splice in a video source into the lcd. I’d also have to find how to have power running to it since it only powers on when the car is put in reverse. Would this work and be easy to do without to many mods?

A: Its not an easy modification, and if you mess with it and something goes wrong Ford will void your new car warranty. Also the screen in the mirror is only 2″ which is very small,It would be more sensible to install a screen in the visor, but its your car do what you want.

Q: What is the escape the fate set list for 2010?

A: they normally change it for each different show i think. don’t play the same songs, in the same list at every show.

i could be wrong, but that’s what i believe or else some songs would never get played.

Q: what is escape the fate for 2010-2011?
(if any) just curious if like an album would be comming!? or about max, ronnie (and his band),craig ,robert or monte

A: Their new album is gonna be called “escape the fate” and its coming out on November 2nd 2010!! they said so on their myspace or somthing like that. and ronnie is getting our of jail in november too and he said thier new alubum would come out in 2011.

Q: Escape the fate australian tour 2010?
Plz give me the link to all the info on it not the warped tour, i mean for wen they actually headline a tour, r they coming to canberra

A: idk but why would you want to see them? Craig seriously sucks balls in ETF

Q: How long for a car order?
If I order a new ford escape hybrid 2010 ,how long will it take before I receive it ?

A: They will tell you when you order it, it also depends on when the new model year comes out, most times around 6 weeks at least that’s how long it took to get a new model year truck I ordered a few years back.

Q: What size tire can I put on my 2010 Chevy Silverado without a lift kit, or leveling kit?
I have a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Ext. Cab z71. I’d like to get larger tires to get rid of those massive fender wells. I’ve been looking at Nitto Mud Grapplers, but will 33″ tires fit w/o having to lift the truck?

A: 33’s will fit with no rubbing on a Z71 Try 285 65 17’s

Q: Can you use unleaded gas in a 2010 Chevy Silverado that says “Flex Fuel” on the back of the truck?
I know its a silly question, but we are renting it. Ive never driven a flex fuel vehicle before and Im just afraid to put the wrong kind in and mess it up. I know you can use different types of fuel in a flex fuel vehicle, but I really want to be sure. Thank you!

A: yes you can use either e-85 or regular unleaded either will do you will get more mpg from regular unleaded than from e-85

Q: Please help me compare the 2010 Chevy Avalanche vs. the 2010 Chevy Silverado.?
Hello! I am interested in both the 2010 Chevy Avalanche and the Silverado. Please help me choose which one would be best. I am looking for comparisons on price, practicality, and design. Thanks!

A: The avalanche is a useless poorly designed truck buy the crew cab pickup. do you want to haul anything? imagine driving with no rear wall or glass just to haul any real cargo, ought to be fun in the winter or on a dusty road. If you want the wind in your hair get the sunroof it’s still cheaper! If you aren’t a rap star get the silverado

Q: Is a 2009/2010 Chevy Silverado a good truck to buy?
I’m planning to buy a truck. I found a 2009 one for 17,000 new. Is it worth it?
i just checked my dealer and they said 17,000.
i don’t know why the other ones are like 30,000

A: Absolutely, good warranty that is backed by the gubment, they ride better than the Ford’s and the Dodge’s and get better fuel economy too. I have owned several Chevy’s over the years and I have never regretted it.

Q: How do I hook Up a amp to my stock radio in a 2010 chevy silverado?

A: get a Line Output Converter

Q: How many miles can you drive with your fuel light on in a 2010 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3 V8 engine?

A: on average you mpg is probabyl atound 15 mpg

usually the gas light comes on wityh 2-3 gallons left in tank

so 2 x 15mpg = 30 miles to be safe at most

good luck

Q: How to bypass traction control on a 2010 silverado?
On my 2010 Chevy Silverado, I can shut the traction control off by the switch but it will automatically re-engage itself if my tires are spinning. Is there anyway to bypass the traction control?

A: Each wheel has a wheel speed sensor built into the hub. The car determines when to engage the traction control based on the input of those sensors. You cannot just cut the wires to the sensors or you will have big problems. What you would do is create a very large wire harness that basically takes the signal from one wheel sensor and sends it to the on-board computer as the rest of the wheel sensors. This will give the computer the illusion of each wheel spinning at the same rate and thus no need for TCS to engage. This has been a somewhat common thing for late 90s Cadillac STS owners to do to drag race since when TCS is disabled it also disables 1st gear.

Q: 2010 Chevy Silverado Question?
Purchased a New 2010 Silverado LTZ. It has 3,360 miles on it. Have a question about a noise I’m hearing. Only when I’m on the Highway and going over 55 mph. I hear a crackle like sound coming from the passengers side up close to the windshield. I have had passengers say they hear it too, but I can’t figure out what it is. Anyone have any ideas or have heard of this?

A: It could be a weather stripping issue. Your best bet is to take it back to the dealer and have them look at it under warranty.

Q: which car is more mexican looking the 2010 chevy silverado or the 2010 chrysler 300c?

A: chevy

Q: which truck looks more mexican, a black 2010 chevy avalanche or a black 2010 chevy silverado?

A: lower them both and put some rims on them so i can give you a more accurate answer

Q: Does anyone know where i can find rims to fit my 2010 chevy silverado?
I just ordered a new 2010 chevy silverado crew cab and Ive been looking all over for sites that have 24’s on it to fit the year of truck i have. I cant find them anywhere, is there any websites that have 24’s to fit a 2010 chevy silverado?
Thats not what i asked dumbass….i know its a truck…and its my truck….prolly something you cant afford so keep ur dumbass comments to yourself since that wasnt the question i asked

A: www.tirerack.com

Q: which looks more mexican the 2010 chevy silverado or a black 2010 chevy avalanche?

A: if you put all kinds of lights and other junk on it then it will look mexican and don’t forget the mexican flag!!!!!!

Q: if i install a leveling kit to my 2010 chevy silverado would it void my warranty?
i got 6yr 72000mile bumper to bumper 5yr drivetrain

A: it will only void the warranty of the part you replaced or modified, unless they can prove what you did caused some other damage.

Q: 2010 Chevy Silverado: 3.08 vs. 3.42 gear ratio?
I’m on Chevy’s website building a Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, and I’m confused about what these gear ratios mean to a layman such as myself. I have selected the 5.3L V8 w/6-speed automatic transmission, and I can choose between the 3.08 or 3.42 gear ratios.

I drive on pavement 95% of the time, and I only take the boat out twice a month tops (about a five mile trip from the house). I am looking for acceleration more than top speed. What can I expect as far as acceleration, top speed, gas mileage, etc. from each of these two gear ratios?

A: The 3.08 gear ratio means the drive shaft will rotate 3.08 revolutions to 1 rotation of the rear tire. Thus, the 3.08 will have lower rpms at highway speeds, but not as much torque for towing. The 3.42 will tow easier, but get lower mileage as your engine will have higher rpms at the same speed.
If a boat is all your towing, and at only 5 miles, I would get the 3.08.
If acceleration is important, the 3.42.

Q: 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 or 2500HD gas?
i was looking into the new silverados and i cant chose the one i like between the silverado 1500 5.3l or 6.2l v8 or the 2500HD 6.0l V8 gas. i like the crew cab body style but it isnt a must have. the stuff i might be doing w/ them is hauling a 4 wheeler or a dirtbike, or pulling a trailer. the only thing i dont like is that i can only get the 1500 crew cab in a short bed.

A: the 2500 is a truck. the 1500 is a big car.the brakes suspension and gas mileage are different.I have the 1500 and pull farm equipment and yes honda rincons, about and have no problems.I drive many miles a week and love the gas mileage of the small block.I have a 2002 silverado and a2009 sierra.I can’t plow with them but if i needed to I would buy the 2500 or 3500.My trucks have the cab and a half, 61/2″ bed and the Honda 680 rincon fits in the bed with the back tire not on tailgate.(although I can’t close it).The crew cab bed is shorter however.

Find great deals on the 2010 chevy impala.

Q: Where can I get duplicates of my 2010 Chevy Impala car keys?
I have a 2010 Chevy Impala, which came with 1 car key and 2 fobs. I’ve been to Pep Boys and Ace, but neither can duplicate what I have. Pep Boys says they do not have the 2010 Impala keys yet, so they can’t make copies, and Ace says they need at least 2 car keys to make duplicates.

I know that going to a dealer will require a mechanic to come out and work with my car and who knows what else and how long it will take, and that it will cost quite a bit to get that first duplicate key. Are there any other options? Do I have to go to the dealer?

Thank you for any advice!

A: Key blanks are available on Ebay for about $20 including programming instructions. You can have the key cut almost anyplace that cuts keys. The seller in the link has sold almost 20,000 with a 100% satisfaction rating. You can get one from any GM dealer for about $200. All you would need at the dealer is the cars VIN and proof that it’s your car.

Q: Around how much would a 2008 car price drop when 2010 hits? or a 2009? Mainly looking at Chevy Impala?
I am trying to decide to buy one now or after 2010. Looking at a 2008 Chevy Impala SS or LTZ. Prices range from 15-17,000 now.

A: Okay, what would a 2006 or 07 sell for now….there you go, that’s your answer!

Q: Chrysler sebring sedan,Chevy Malibu or Chevy Impala 2010?
Which would you rather have and why
paul i think your wrong

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/chevrolet/malibu/101028431/reliability.html

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/chevrolet/impala/101043537/reliability.html

A: None to be honest. especially the Chrysler, its been rated as being one of the most unreliable vehicle currently on the market. i guess if i had to pick my poison, i’d pick the malibu. all of these cars are pretty unreliable.

Q: Azera or Impala 2010 and why?
Would you rather own a Chevy Impala or Hyundai Azera and why. Also Happy Thanksgiving.

A: I would rather have a Chevy Impala because it has better fuel economy. But I do think the Azera is way better looking and more elegant.

Q: 2009 Camry vs 2009 Impala vs 2010 Corolla?
I’m 19 years old with an annual income of $40,000. I’m looking at buying 1 of 3 cars as my first car ever.

2009 Chevy Impala – 38,000 miles – $10,998 – No warranty.
2009 Toyota Camry – 15,000 miles – $13,988 – Warranty.
2010 Toyota Corolla – 9,000 miles – $13,288 – Warranty.

I want something that will be reliable but also fun to drive and overall a nice car. I’m leaning towards the Impala or Camry…and the Camry is nice since it has low miles and a warranty. What should I pick? I want something with a big comfortable interior and something that will be reliable

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: how to get coin out of car cd player?
My son accidentally put a quarter in the factor cd player or a rental 2010 Chevy Impala. Is there anyway for me to try to retrieve it on my own without taking it to a repair shop. Please keep in mind this is a rental car. I’m freaking out!!!

A: well since my dad always uses rental cars for his work i would recommend just leaving it in their since nobody even uses the CD player in a rental anyways. They do not check for minor details that small. Take a breath and don’t worry about it.

Q: are GM thinking of bringing the full size RWD cars Back in 2009-2010 ??
is it real ???? they well let australia make it but would it be better if texas made those ? its could zeta platform

park avenu 2008 RWD
pontiac G8 2008 RWD
camaro 2009 RWD
chevy impala ss 2010 ( RWD WITH MORE THEN 400HP ???)
( and about the cadillac i realy dont know about them but i guess i heard that maybe just maybe there well be a rwd car in the futer )

what do you think about it ????
is it going to better the last fullsize car the b-body or not ???

A: Yes they are thinking of bringing them back. They will be much better than the old B-body cars. The Camaro and G8 are the only ones coming back for sure. The rest depend on the new CAFE laws. If they get real strict then we wont see the rest.

The will all be built on the new Zeta RWD platform. The 1st year will be built in Australia because there is no plants in North America that are setup to build this platform yet. The plant the builds the W-body cars (Grand Prix, Impala, Monte Carlo) in Canada will be closed down, retooled, and upgraded. Then the production of the North American cars (maybe not the Camaro) will be moved there and only the Australian cars will be made in Australia. The Australian plant does not have the capacity to build all these cars once they are in full production.

Q: When will there be a price drop in 2009 impalas?
I am looking to get a new vehicle, preferably a Chevy Impala. I am just wondering if the 2009 impalas will drop significantly because the 2010’s are out. I have gone to a few Chevy dealer lots, and the 2009’s and 2010’s are right around the same price. Is this normal, or should I assume that in a week/month the price will drop. How soon does the price typically drop down when new models are released?

A: Dealers can’t change what’s on the window sticker so technically speaking there is never a drop in price. Dealers that add markup however can reduce or eliminate the markup. They have their profit to negotiate with and that’s it. Any discount beyond that comes from the factory in the form of rebates, or cash incentives to the dealer. Dealers cannot negotiate rebates, but the cash incentives are there’s to do with as they please. You’ll see some posters talking about kickbacks, or what is actually called “holdback” that the dealer gets from the factory. I’m not aware of any dealer that will negotiate their holdback, it is their last line of defense against losing money on a sale, and on an Impala, it’s only a few hundred bucks. Now your Impala will have about 5% profit for you to work with, so roughly 1000-1200 bucks, I’ve no idea what rebates and or incentives are currently available. If price is your number one concern, consider a rental return, dealers get em dirt cheap and they are very well maintained cars that are still under factory warranty.

Q: What kind of car would you rather have?
a black 1967 Chevy Impala in mint condition, or a brand new 2010 Ford Mustang with racing stripes?

A: Does anyone else find it funny that someone named “Christine” is asking a car question??

Anyways the Impala.

Q: Cant choose a car?
I want to buy a new car…..but I have no idea what car to get.

At first i really wanted a Chevy Impala SS but then i realised the last good impalas were made back in 95-96. Then a monte carlo but I dont want front wheel drive….I decided to wait til 2010 when chevy said they will bring back the rear wheel drive for impalas.

I want a sporty looking car, fast, and under $40,000. Anyone have any suggestions?
Oh and im not going to be b uying it within the next year it will be around 2009 when im out of school and get a job with a friend doing what his brother does.

A: If you want a rear wheel drive car, and you like the 4 door sedans with lots of power like the Impala and Monte, then I would suggest checking out the Pontiac GTO. It has a supercharged 6.0 liter V8 and it has unique styling, but I will list other cars that fit your criteria that I like a lot, and hopefully it is helpful:

Q: First car. Still trying to decide. Options.?
With a 32 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $30,000.
with a 30-31 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $15,000
with a 28-29 on my ACT i can have ANY car under $7500, BUT it has to be APPROVED by my dad.
My insurance company WILL NOT insure ANYONE under 22 with a high performance car (camaro, mustang, GTO etc.) UNLESS you pay high risk insurance which is a higher monthly payment.

here is my options and what I’d do with the left over money (Which I’ll have to talk my dad into letting me have).

so.
-with a 32, the high risk insurance, and $14K I can get the 2010 Camaro SS fully Loaded. (Black with Silver Racing Stripes)

-with high risk insurance, a 2000 Camaro SS (mod and paint)

-1993 Chevy Blazer, (update the interior and stero system, and mod it a little)

-2000 Chevy S10 Xtreme (mod it.)

-2006 Dodge Charger R/T (audio system & mod it.)

-2003 Chevy Impala (upgrade the audio system and mod it)

-2006 Pontiac G6 (mod it)

-with high risk insurance, a 1993 Camaro (mod and paint)

-with high risk insurance, a 1993 mustang (mod and paint)

OR
I can wait until I’m 18 and get a harley with that money, and use the left over money to upgrade it. (mom wont lemme get a bike until I’m 18)

keep in mind I’d love to keep this first car FOREVER. (I’ll take care of it)
what’s my best option.
2007 chevy avalanche (mod and upgrade audio)
2006 chevy impala (mod and upgrade audio)

I got a job, i’ll save for the extra 14K
OH and i have to pay the high risk insurance
if i get less than a 28 then i get to share his 2001 nissan maxima GXE.
and I really DO NOT want to drive an import.

A: mustang or camaro

Q: Would this be a good buy?
I’m looking around for a 64-67 Impala, and I found this one near where I live. I live in a small area in Ontario, and the only ones I could find that I liked and were cheap were in California or Texas.

http://s941.photobucket.com/albums/ad256/MrMrM_2010/?action=view&current=66chev33361-1.jpg

The information on the site is below, I didn’t want to post the URL in case somebody else looking for one saw it and got to it before me, sorry=P

Chevy Impala SS. Off frame resto, new interior, headliner, carpet, buckets, fresh paint, 396 balanced, blueprinted, rocker rollers and lifter, keiths black pistons, 4 bolt main, weiand intake, holley double pumper carb, stainless steel dual exhaust,8 1/2 quart oil pan, 500+HP? Appraised 18,000

Price – $ 18,000

would you recommend it or should I keep looking? also, if I do find another good one in America, would there be any way to have it sent here or should I not bother…?
I e-mailed them a few times and they say its just been rebuilt, no rust, and runs perfectly, and so far has about an hours running time.
Angel… Im looking for a car, not shoes…

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: 1963 350 engine idle?
I have a 1963 chevy impala, I just put a 350 engine and converted the distributor points with an Accel points eliminator conversion kit part 2010. I have ahard time getting the engine to idle correctly. Some tell me that it might be my harmonic balancer that is slipping and making it hard to get the timing done correctly. But their is something that i noticed that does not seem right. When I have the car on an I disconnect the battery, the car idles alot higher and this may be the correct idle. My question is what causes the engine to idle like that? Could it be my Voltage regulator? I have a 1970 chevy truck with a 350 and this does not occur to my truck.

A: there are a lot of things that can give you problems with idle, make sure the carb is tight and has no leak and the manifold, the battery may have an internal short that is causing the alternator to work harder than it should at idle, try spraying some carb cleaner at the base of the carb see if the engine rpm goes up

Q: what car should my dad get mazda 3 or Kia Forte Koupe?
We test drove many cars. Chevy aveo, colbalt, impala, Honda Civic the fuel efficient car dont remember name, accord, ford focus, etc. The best we like r the Kia Foute Koup, Mazda 3 r ones we r leaning toward and the focus.
What ever we get it’ll have blue tooth sunroof good fuel use and standard transmission. the problem is the kia and mazda are soooo good cars. the kia has the pimpin interior and awesume shape. the mazda had more pep in the standard by a little, stereo is sweet (bose) that front grill smile with the is sumthin u cant go wrong w/. second higher level sport trim model. This is a hard decision, hope u guys can help.

btw its the 2010 or 2011 models
Oh yeah we also test drove two Pontiac g6. 07 and 08, good cars but they werent standard..

A: Well… I actually have a 2007 Infiniti G35s sedan and is a good car, but – I’m looking into something more economical. I’ve never considered a Mazda… I’ve always thought of their cars as being bland – untill the new 6 and the 3 came out – they are nice looking, but – as always, out of the big Japanese makers, Mazda is ranked one of the lowest.

Toyota [Lexus], Honda [Acura], Nissan [Infiniti], Subaru…. then there’s Mazda – which would you want??

Anyways, I’m thinking of the Kia Forte Koupe SX: for the price, you can’t beat it… comes with everything… including leather, bluetooth, and a 6 speaker system that BLOWS even my Infiniti G35’s Bose”Studio on Wheels” -10speaker system. –I recently did a test drive 6speed manual:) Very impressive for this price!!!

Seriously – if audio is a consideration… and you think the Bose in the Mazda3 sounds good, go and listen to the Kia’s system [SX] closer >>bring a CD that you know well and compare the 2. YOu’d be surprised, and forget about the brand “Bose” — audio has nothing to do with a “well known brand”.

Hope this Helps!
ps. The engine is a Mitsubishi,Chrysler,Hyundai joint venture engine…. all 3 companies use this engine in their cars. The Dodge Neon’s SRT4’s turbocharged version is the same as the Forte SX’s engine. +powertrain warranty on the Kia is 10years or 100,000miles!!!
