A: The Jeep will be a much better off-roader. The Raptor is meant for the desert.

A: The 6.2L SOHC V8 with the estimated 400 HP is supposed to be available the first part of next year. You can get your hands on the 5.4L now, but dealers can’t even order the other engine until the end of the year or first part of next year at the earliest.

Q: Can you put a cap on a svt raptor?
Can you put cap(that thing you put on top of the bed of a truck) on a ford f150 svt raptor? Just wondering cuz i’v never seen one with a cap on.

A: I haven’t either but it should fit like any other truck

Q: Will Ford SVT keep making raptors in the future?
i love the truck but im not in a position to buy it now or anytime soon.

A: Not sure, some one working high up ford might be the only one to answer that.
I imagine they will make them for a while and them change them up to something else like most of the other SVT vehicles, look at the lightening we had it then we had no svt f-150s and now they have the raptor, time will tell lol

since they are in different classes would you say there are better cars in each of there classes or are they the best?

A: The best value is the CTS-V.

A fantastic car at half the price of a BMW M5.

I am wanting to know which one of these is a better first car for a 16 year old… a ford raptor svt or a ford f-250 diesel?

A: The F250 will protect you more (its like driving a tank). My first truck was a 96 F250 powerstroke. Now I own an 01 F350 4×4. Diesels are higher maintenece and once you start upgrading them….you dont stop>>>>

Q: which is a better first car for a 16 year old?
im 16 and getting my lisence in july and will get whatever car i want and i have narrowed it down to 3 cars which one would be the best? I want either a 2010 lancer evolution, 2010 ford SVT raptor, or a 2010 chevy surburban Z71.

A: as a long time suburban lover, go look for the gmc version of the suburban, it used to be the gmc had all the nicer interiors and the extras like power seats and mirrors It is a good comfortable ride, and has plenty of room for plenty of friends and whatever else you need to take with you. tons of power it is a big and rides great on long trips, not as good on gas as a evolution and ford has not made a car yet I would buy and take home. so chevy suburban, or gmc suburban is my suggestion best of luck, keep busy, get a good education and remember rule number one is “If any dumb boys want to drive my totally cool, totally awesome ride the answer is always, HELL NO!!!!”

the ford raptor svt, i like it a lot (a good trail ready truck) and if I were to buy one it would i think I would go for the bigger engine size.

Q: Is fords extended warranty worth it?
Just ordered a 2010 SVT Raptor. They are trying to get me to buy the extended premium warranty. I was told by my uncles friend that it isnt worth it stick with the warranty it comes with. He said if anything goes wrong itll be in that time frame and the extended is a waste of money. Was wondering if this was true.

A: Never buy the extended warranty or the undercoating/rustproofing
They are the single biggest makers of money for dealership next to the service bays.
Biggest rip-off out there.
