Q: What do you think about the 2010 VW Jetta?
I’m thinking of leasing a 2010 VW Jetta and wanted to hear other drivers opinions. I’m looking at the basic sedan not the TDI.

A: I just test drove an SE the other day. I definitely fell in love. The ride was so smooth and actually fun. I know they only get 170 horse power, but it was extremely peppy. The car was very easy to maneuver and very stylish on the inside and out. I love how the SE comes standard with the touchscreen radio and sunroof! I’m going back next week to buy it.

(they have a special deal right now where you can finance for 60 months at a rate of 1.9% which is.. beyond amazing, truly a great deal)

Q: What’s the cost of repairs (in general) on VW Jetta 2010 TDI?
I’m strongly considering the purchase of a 2010 VW Jetta TDI. My other option at the moment is a 2010 Toyota Camry. Putting aside arguments of reliability and basic track record, I’m trying to find out which is going to be cheaper to have body repairs done on: the Camry or the Jetta.

Q: Should I trade in my 2010 VW Jetta for a 2010 Mazda 3?
I just bought a 2010 VW Jetta in January and hate it. I’m thinking about trading it in toward a 2010 Mazda 3. For anybody that has it, is it worth it?

A: Totally! I have worked with both brands, Mazda are very reliable, VW’s suck nowadays!

Sorry I think the one in question is Jetta SportWagen TDI. Jetta SportWagen TDI and Golf TDI looks very similar but Jetta SW costs more. What are the differences?

Q: What can I modify on a VW Jetta 2010 for more power?

Turbo? Twin turbo? What is the best performance parts combination for more HP?

A: Reletively easy and inexpensive, and both not only increase power, but efficiency… go for intake and exhaust. You can youtube your car, or similar engine size and features with different exhaust systems then go to a muffler shop and say I want this…. if you want a simple upgrade, to get more power to the wheels go for a lightweight crank pulley. You can get a full pulley set, but imo you really only need the crank pulley. This one is nice because it reflects every hp gain you add without changing anything again.

Q: Should I get a 2010 nissan sentra or 2010 VW Jetta?
I really want a Jetta But I heard they aren’t reliable.. The Sentra is kinda similiar to the jetta..
Which is better? and which is more reliable ??

A: I was in the same situation as you. I had to chose between the nissan sentra or the VW Jetta. I decided to go for the Jetta due to the fact that you really get more for what you pay for. Yes the Jetta is more expensive, but in the long run it will save you money.

Plus the Jetta looks better!

Q: 2010 VW Jetta- Sub amp installation w/ factory touchscreen stereo?
I have the factory touch screen stereo in my 2010 Jetta. I need to know the best way to be able to install subs and an amp myself. I heard I need a converter for the head unit and stuff. It has the touchscreen stereo with 6 disc changer. I am thinkin about gettin a 12 inch stitched kicker sub and idk about amp yet, if anyone would be able to suggest an inexpensive quality amp that would be great. A: Yep what you need is a ‘High to Low Level Converter’.

Basically, it takes two of your speaker outputs, and converts them into RCA inputs for your amp. You can still use the speakers, you just splice into the wires.

Some amps also have a built in high-to-low level converter but I have usually only seen this in the ‘cheaper’ amps.

Q: What would you buy: 2009 VW Jetta or 2010 Nissan Sentra?
I am looking at the Jetta SE and Sentra SR. I like both and am looking for biggest bang for the buck and most fun to drive. Thanks for your help and if you could back up your answer with more then just the name of the car.

A: I would get the Jetta.

I am 17. My family has 4 drivers and 2 cars. my dad is looking into buying another car for me and him to share. He is mainly letting me pick it out but since he is paying for it he needs to approve. He wants 4 doors, good fuel econ and reliable. I want sporty. i think the jetta meets these guidelines and i love the radio touchscreen in the 2010 model. what is your opinion. do you have any other suggestions? i am also waiting for the 2010 golf to come out to look at that as well. please comment and suggest! thanks

the 5 cyl engine doesn’t get great mpg (24) and is a little noisy at high revs

if your wanting to save trips to the pump get the TDI (stellar 47 hwy)

over all the jetta would last longer but expensive to maintain but the taurus wont last long only 5 years. but cheap to maintain. thats why if i want an american car i lease it. jetta is more sporty. Hope this helps alot!!

Reliability, I would go with the Mazda.

Fun, well it really depends on what you like to do. Both have sporty options. And both are probably fun to drive. Mazdas have really good handling.

However, the Jetta will probably be built better. Stronger material, more luxurious interior, etc.

I could go on, but I think you might see my point. You could go with either. Do you research.

If you have extra money in case anything goes wrong with the car, go with the Jetta. If money is tight, go with the Mazda.

Q: PLZ help what car to get 2010 camaro or 2010 vw gti or vw tdi jetta?
im going car shopping on monday and been doing som research on tons of cars and i think it come down to these…im going into collage and i also want to have a nice looking car, but im also looking for something thats alittle sporty but thats reliable.
any other idea or options i should consider?

A: Just get something simple like an 02 Toyota Celica or Subaru Impreza RS. You don’t need a brand new 2010 car. No kid is worth that much.
